A Little Catch Up!!

WOW! It's been a long time sense I have blogged...SORRY! I'll try and catch you up on everything. On July 23rd we got the chance to go to the Taylor reunion for a couple hours and see everybody! Kyler loved all the attention from is cousins! He got to meet his cousin Jaivery, Kami's little girl, for the first time! She was born in September, so she is just a few months older than he is. It was really fun to watch them interact. I think it was the first time he has ever seen anyone his size! He loved it, and I think she did as well!

On the 24th we went and had lunch at the Nelson reunion here in town...! To all you who didn't come...you missed out on a good time (wink wink) but no really....the food was great! Especially the grape salad Grandma made..MMMMMMM I love it!

July 31st - August 1st Beau had guard in Blanding! We went down on Thursday night and got to hang out with all his friends from high school while Grandpa marc and Aunt Tori tended Kyler! It was really fun, I don't really know any of the kids he went to school with so it was fun to get to know them! They are kind of a roudy bunch! Beau and his friend Kc (he is in Beau's guard unit, he lived with him in cedar) woke up with Marc at 4:00 am (me and Tori were still up!!) on Friday and they drove to Fruita to move Danace, Marc's cute new wife, out of her house and into his! We also got to see Grandma Kayla and Ky man LOVES her and Aunt Shay! He has so much fun at her house! It was so so good to see them, we don't get to see them as often as we'd like! Thursday night Beau had to be in Blanding at 6 p.m to do inventory. He didn't get back to Moab till after Midnight and then we woke up...once again...at 4am and headed back to Blanding. They had a family BBQ at noon, but Kyler and I just went down with him and hung out! We just sat in the office with the Sgt's but by 9 we were both bored of it so we ended up going to Beau's friends girlfriends house, which i barely knew, and hung out. We had a TON of fun tho! About noon we went the BBQ and then watched them play softball. It was the NCO's against lower inlisted...and the LOWER INLISTED kicked their butts. It was like 25 to 6! but...they still had to do push up's...!

Sunday morning we woke up and drove to Lehi! Beau was a staff member for Freedom Academy. He had a lot of fun. They got to go to the capital, climb rock walls, go to the air guard base...and LOTS of other things. He got to meet lots of kids and had a ton of fun. Thursday after I got off work Kyler and I drove up and hung out. We watched a Talent show...and oh boy it was funny! We watched a kid dance on a pogo stick, someone played the guitar like the little boy on August Rush...It was by far my favorite, and if you haven't seen that movie, I highly recommend it! Beau's group did a skit...It was HILLARIOUS! It had the whole room laughing. They made fun of Sgt Day...one of the little girls dressed up as him, a kid, that looked identical to Beau dressed up as Beau, and a boy dressed up as a little prissy girl. I won't lie....he looked better as a girl!! They also had a magician...I think it was magician White, the worst Magician ever...hahahaha he was SOOO funny! If you ever get a chance to go watch him, do it, cuz he was AMAZING!!! Then later that night We went to the dance..HAHAHAH..i'm not a dancer..but Beau and I had a lot of fun! Kyler hung out with his cousin Wyatt and Uncle Scott! Friday morning we went to the Graduation..It was long..so Kyler and I went up in the sound room with a few of Scott's friends...It was a riot! But if any of you have kids that are inbetween their junior and senior years next year..I would highly recomend sending them to Freedom Academy. The kids have a ton of fun, meet lots of new people, and learn so much about the millitary and freedom!

After we were done on Friday we went and hung out with my aunt Kristie, Uncle Richard and Cody and Landon..that is always a lot of fun...and Ky LOVES them! Richard found us a jogging stroller (thanks!) and so he took Kyler out and played in it...! It was funny!

Kyler has been crawling for a bout a month now! He kind of half crawls half stink bugs...he won't put his right knee on the ground! He goes everywhere...and is SUPER speedy! He loves it..and thinks it funny when Fozzy or Dad follows him around!
