LONG TIME

WOW!! Its been FOREVER! I'm gonna get better at this I promise. Lots has happened sense March and instead of trying to remember and catch up I'm just going to start from right now and you're all just gonna have to deal with the fact that you missed out on 4 months of our crazy little lives...I'm sorry!! Really I am. But here we go...

BEAU'S GONE :( He flew out of the Guard Air Base on Friday...and it was seriously the worst day of my life. We are going to miss him so much, but I am so very proud of the choice he made. He's making a major sacrafice for his country, and he's so brave. I've had more than one of his Sargents tell me he is the best soldier out there, so I feel a little better knowing that he's pretty much amazing!

I seriously thought that Friday was never going to come and that it was just a BIG FAT joke the guard was playing on us, but of course, it wasn't. It was the real deal, and man does it suck!

He landed in Wisconsin about 9:00 pm our time to head to Fort McCoy for Mobilization Training.

As of right now he still has his cell phone and I get to talk to him whenever he can, and he texts me throughout the day. When they leave to Afganistan, they will not have their phones, and I think that is going to be very hard. He called on Saturday night and he's doing very good. He got poked and proded all day was very sick of all the medical stuff! But, he's doing awesome..and seriously...I don't think he misses me quite as bad as i miss him!!

Oh, and we've moved back to Richfield...!

It's Been way too long!!

Well I have not done to hot on Blogging lately. We don't do much other than work and homework! Hopefully soon that will all calm down though. I'll try and remember everything we've done in the past couple months, but I'm not promising I'll get everything. I'm a forgetful person.

Kyler had learned how to climb out of his crib, well almost. He never actually got out, but we walked in on him a few times up over the top of the crib. So we decided it was time to get him a toddler bed before he fell out and hurt himself. It took us FOREVER to put it together, but we had a lot of fun doing it. I wish i would have taken pictures during, and then after of the bed. It's super cute..but I'll get some up soon. Kyler even helped us with his tools that he got for Christmas. He's slept really good in it, and he LOVES to jump on it. If he disappears....He's in laying on his bed playing with toys. We can even tell him to go get in a bed and away he goes. He's so dang cute!
For Valentines day we went to Glenwood and my mom and dad kept Kyler Sunday night and we met them in Beaver on Monday and picked him up. We went to 'Dear John' with Cole and Amy, I LOVED the movie, but I don't think Amy did. I was a blubbering baby threw the HOLE movie. It starts off with a soldier getting shot...and of course, I started bawling. Stuff like that never used to bother me, but with Beau leaving in July, I'm scared to death! For Valentines I got Beau a coat, he's needed one forever. and he spoiled me...I got a pencil skirt, a shirt and a dang cute necklace! He loves me..what can I say??

On February 19 Beau had to report to Camp Williams for a two week class! It was WLC which stands for Warrior Leader something or other...! Anyways, it's a really big class that qualifies them to be a Saergent if they aren't already. So hopefully there is an open slot soon in his unit...!!He was gone till March 7. It was really hard to have him gone, but we did fine! I spoiled Ky and let him sleep with me for two weeks! I hate it when he's gone, I can never get any sleep. One night I woke up and a tom cat had followed our little kitty in through the doggy door and was sitting in my bedroom door way. It was awful!!

I got to go up and watch the WLC graduation! It was fun. They were all lined up ready to go on stage and their little graduation certificate and Beau was standing behind us. Kyler seen him and started jumping up and down and pointing saying DADDA DADDA. Beau was smiling SO big..and I kinda wanted to cry! It's gonna be sad when Beau leaves for a year. I hope Ky does ok. Beau's uncle Scott came up and watched the graduation with us as well. He's so supportive of Beau and all the guard stuff that he does. Scott and his little boy Wyatt even took Beau a pie one night! :) We are so grateful for him!

I stayed at my aunt Kristie's for 3 weekends in a row, and she watched Kyler..alot!! THANKS :) you're the best. She taught him how to say DUCK and DAISY DOG...! Ky loves them lots. He folllowed Richard around like a lost puppy dog.

While Beau was gone I bought Ky some Sun glasses. He loves them! We keep them in his Car seat and when we put him in the car he always hands them to us and grunts! He's our little stud boy :) we loves him SO much!!

Oh and the best news of all: WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW PLACE!!! I hate my house now, and I hate my neighborhood. We are moving up in to a little community, it's got A TON of rules. They do background checks before you move in...and they have the funniest rules ever...ever keeping you're garage door closed, no pets (even outside), if you have any lawn decorations, swing sets, or trampolines, you MUST rotate them once a week so it doesn't ruin the grass, and you MUST keep your garabage can in the back yard, except on garbage day. And by dark, you must have it off the street! But i'm very excited. It's much bigger and in a much better community. They are Duplex's, but they connect at the garage's! I'm very very excited :)

Kyler is getting SO big it's sad. Here is a few things he does:

• Play's patty cake all by himself, and breaks out doing it at the randomest times
• He play's peek-a-boo. He covers his eyes with his hands and then peeks through his fingers
• He gets in and out of bed by himself (idk if thats a good thing)
• He climbs..all over EVERYTHING. He can now get on our couch by himself, our computer chair, the lovesac...you get the picture
• He sings when the radio is on
• He dances in front of the tv, and in his car seat
• He say's SO many words
• He loves to CUSE you when he's mad
• He now RUNS from you if you try and change his diaper
• and he takes his diaper off if he gets the chance
• He even helps clean up his toys after we're done playing with the
  

He's getting SO big and does SO many things by himself!! If i keep going, the list would be forever!

...Christmas...

This year Lance and Steph gave us their old Fake Christmas Tree! I was SOOOO excited! It took us forever to put it up (I read the instructions wrong) but we finally got up up! We tried to take pictures...and Kyler wasn't having ANYTHING to do with that!

The weekend before Christmas we had the Nelson Christmas party. It was lots of fun..we ate way to much food and opened presents. All the Grandkids got Pajama's from my Grandma...and Pepporoni from my Grandpa...like we do every year! We played the passing game and then Beau and I loaded up and went home! It's to hard to be gone EVERY WEEKEND!

This year for Christmas..sense Beau won't be here next year, we decided to stay home and open presents and then leave town. So on Christmas Eve we let Kyler open one present (pajama's from Grandma Mad) and we got to open one too! It was lots of fun..! Then we all went to bed..and Santa came!! HEHEHE!

Christmas morning I woke up at 5:30...I didn't know anything I was getting so I was a little excited to see it. I layed in bed till Ky woke up at six..then we woke up Beau! He thought I was absolutely crazy for waking up that early..but hey :) Christmas is only once a year right!

Kyler was super excited..well as excited as a one year old can get on Christmas..but he played with his toys...and dumbed his stocking out. He didn't want to open presents..he just wanted to play with what Santa brought him! We finally got him away and opening all his presents..he got spoiled..like usual! But we had a lot of fun! It was nice to have just the three of us at home!

I got a Waffle Maker, I wanted one for a while, so I made Breakfast and then we got ready and headed to Richfield. We had a few more presents to open at my parents house..and then we just got to relax the rest of the day. We went to the Cranney's and played with Gabe's new WII for a while and then headed back to my parents and watched Christmas movies with my mom and went to bed.

Saturday we got up bright and early and headed to the Cranney's to go sledding! We didn't end up going till about one but we had a lot of fun. Lance, Steph and the girls came over and we went up above Annabella!! I wanna go again!

Kyler's 1!!!

Kyler turned the big ONE on December 15. The spoiled little turd got way to many toys...and way to many parties! The first one was on Sunday the 13th on our way home from Moab. Kayla, Chanda, Lana and the gang were waiting in Annabella to celebrate! But lets start with the ride there...! The roads were dry and there wasn't much traffic...until we got about 15 miles to the Salina Canyon and we were dead stopped....and cars and trucks for as FAR as any eye can see. We just figured there was horrible crash or something. Finally after a half hour of sitting we start going..very slowly and in one lane. By the time we go to the top of the mountain we figured out the reason for the slow moving traffic. The roads were ICE! The snow plows couldn't do anything about it! There was 5 or 6 Highway Patrol driving inbetween cars and then they'd get to a turn around spot in the road and go back and get more! It was HORRIBLE! We kept switching lanes and sliding all over the road. By the time we got out of the mess Kyler was SCREAMING at the top of his lungs, so I was trying to comfort him..without getting him out of his car seat..well he vomitted..and it went EVERYWHERE! I mean everywhere...it made it into the front seat, and there was SO much of it..it was sick!So when we finally made it to The Cranney's Kyler got a bath and was in his pajama's for his party! Aunt Chanda was there, we haven't seen her sense February! It was way good to get to catch up! Kyler learned how to open presents..and had a blast.

On Monday my parents came down and brought his present from them and from Great Grandma and Grandpa Nelson! He didn't want much to do with opening the presents b/c I'd gotten mad at him...ALL day for opening the presents under the tree!! We finally got them open and then we all went out to dinner!

On Tuesday....Lance and Haylee, KC, Cole and Amy came over. We ate pizza, opened a few more presents..and Kyler got to eat cake! It was lots of fun...! Thanks EVERYONE for making Kyler's birthday..DRAG ON for a few too many days..and spoiling him rotten!

Guard Christmas Party

December comes with a lot of driving...we've got Christmas parties...Birthday parties...and lots of other events!! We started out the Month pretty slow, but by the end we'd been gone every weekend to some kind of party or another. The first party we went to was the Guard Christmas Party down in Blanding on December 12. It was the same weekend as the Nielsen / Paskett Christmas party and we're super sorry we had to miss it!

We headed to Moab on Friday and stayed with Marc and Danase. It was lots of fun, we don't get to see them very often, but when we do we have a lot of fun! The boys had to be to Blanding at 7 am on Saturday so they drove down that moring, and I got to hang out and eat Marc's yummy breakfast :) After Breakfast I headed down...! The roads were horrible...There was like two feet of snow in Moab...and clear down to Blanding! After I got there I went and hung out with Chelbs! The party started at seven so we had a lot of time to spare! The boys got done and came back and got ready...we decided they take longer to get ready than we do! They were telling us all the "rules" of this dinner. It was called a Dining Out and it was very proper! If the boys, or their dates made a mistake...the boys had to drink out of a "GROGUE" bowl. If you don't know what that is...it's just a bunch of nasty stuff mixed together!

The boys had to introduce their "dates" to the President, Vice and all the other NCO's...as their "mistress"! Weird huh? I've met everyone before so when he started introducing me as his mistress..I hit him!! Ya...that wasn't a very good idea! When we all went into the 'dining hall' we all had to wait to sit till the President did. They had a flag Ceromony, the 'grogue' bowl, and a minute of silence for the fallen. That was sad, I think every single one of the girls in the room was crying. They also had the Family wellness director get up and talk, and we watched a super sad little movie clip about deployement. They are trying to prepare all of us for July when they get deployed!

The night was going really well and NO ONE at our table had to drink out of the bowl, but Beau was throwing EVERYONE he could under the bus so they had to drink out of it. Josh stood up and asked if "their dates" could be excused for a minute so we could use the bathroom...so we all jumped up and ran into the bathroom. When we walked back in Beau, Josh and Wally were all standing at the bowl...giving us dirty dirty looks! They didn't pull our chairs out for us, so they had to go drink the nasty concaction!

We ended up staying in Blanding that night and hanging out with everyone. Kyler got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and I think he had a ball!!

The next moring we woke up and headed back to Moab. We got to hang out with everyone for a few hours. Kyler even got his first Birthday present! He loved it..! Marc and Danace Gave him a little walker. You can push it or you can sit on it and he LOVES it! He pushes it everyone.

The DREADED....DEPLOYMENT

Everyone keeps asking me if and when Beau is getting deployed...I usually just say I don't know..but I'm kind of sick of lying to everyone..and telling everyone! So...here it is. We found out..the day we moved to Cedar...that Beau is getting Deployed June 6, 2010. He'll be stationed in Wisconsin for 3 months for training and from there he'll be heading to Afganistan for 9 months. Yes..I'm scared TO DEATH. and YES...I'm going to stay in Cedar City. I've got some GREAT friends here that'll be here with me every step of the way, I want to finish School and I LOVE my job! It's going to be super hard for Kyler and I both, but we're both strong. We can get through it! I'm so grateful for people like Beau who have the courage to go to war, leave their families, and fight for our freedom's. That's what America is all about! So..thanks babe, you're my hero and always will be! I love you!!

Time for and Update!!

I've been a horrible blogger lately...! Alot has happened sense we moved a few months ago! We really miss all the family in Richfield, but we're really happy in Cedar City! In October I had quite a few job interview but nothing really happened with any of them. I had two at Dixie Leavitt Insurance and on October 30 I got offered the job! On Halloween we went to Richfield and went trick or treating. Kyler was a MONKEY...and probably the cutest one ever!
I started my job the first Monday in November, and I LOVE it! The only bad thing is it's Monday thru Friday, 8-5. So I feel like I miss out on a lot! He goes to my aunt Kami's till Beau get's off work and then he goes home and gets to hang out with DADDY!! He's turned into quite the daddies boy!

He's walking!! Well, almost, he takes a few steps here and there but he thinks crawlings easier!

He talks and babbles so so so much it's lots of fun. He's growing up so fast!

For Thanksgiving, we stayed in Cedar City with Beau's family and ate and Lance and Steph's. Kyler loved all the attention. He got to jump on the tramp, climb stairs...and eat lots of food!!

Kyler will be one in TEN days!! I can't believe how time flies!!
